These days I feel it is important that a patient get as much knowledge about
his/her condition as possible. The information to be found on this site is
designed to provide other avenues that may not have been considered. In this
respect, it should be used to support, not replace, the relationship that
exists between a patient/site visitor and his/her existing physician.
In reading these pages, please bear in mind that my
doctorate is in nutrition, not medicine. Although I have been reading
medical journals for over twenty years, I have no formal medical training. The
information on this website was inspired by my own experience
and research findings, although I have relied on primary, documented sources
throughout for the detailed evidence presented here.
I've done my best to bring you truthful information
that can be of real benefit. But you act upon this stuff entirely at your own
risk. You are responsible for following up any of my writing as you see fit
— I have included references which are in the public domain to make this
easier for you. Don't expect me to carry the can for you if things go wrong.
